Nanostrands are a unique and revolutionary engineering material. Nanostrands are very long sub-micron diameter filaments of nickel or iron. Diameters have been engineered from 50 nm to 1000 nm. Typical lengths range from tens of microns to tens of millimeters. Typical aspect ratios are in the range of 100:1 to 1000:1.
