Nanostrands can be easily dispersed into a wide range of paint bases, such as epoxies, urethanes and acrylics. Their superior conductivity at lower loadings creates improved conductivity at lower loadings, thus lower viscosities. This allows for the ability to create highly conductive spray paints. The first spray paints have been formulated with surface resistivity of 0.050 ohm per square. Continued formulation work should create even more conductive paints or lower loadings.
